Behind the Scenes with Noelle Adams/Claire Kent
I do all of my writing on my laptop, so I can pretty much write anywhere. I usually write on my couch, though—stretched out with my laptop on my lap and my dog on my legs. Sometimes she gets annoyed with the laptop and tries to push against it for more room, but most of the time she huffs and goes down to the bottom of the couch to sleep.
I don’t really need anything else to write. I usually prefer it quiet, but I can ignore background noise. I like scented candles, so I’ll often light one of those, but it’s not necessary. I’m pretty low maintenance, so as long as I have my laptop I’m good to go.

Do you have a silly holiday tradition?
I got a pair of Christmas socks when I was 10, and ever since then, I’ve worn Christmas socks on every Christmas day!
Favorite holiday book
Little Women starts on Christmas, and that’s one of my favorite books ever.
Favorite holiday movie
It’s a toss-up between White Christmas and Die Hard.
What’s your new year’s resolution?
To stop stressing about reviews and rankings on my books. I had the same resolution last year, and I got better about it – but this year I’m really going to succeed!

About Noelle Adams/Claire Kent
Noelle handwrote her first romance novel in a spiral-bound notebook when she was twelve, and she hasn't stopped writing since. She has lived in eight different states and currently resides in Virginia, where she teaches English, reads any book she can get her hands on, and offers tribute to a very spoiled cocker spaniel.
She loves travel, art, history, and ice cream. After spending far too many years of her life in graduate school, she has decided to reorient her priorities and focus on writing contemporary romances.
