ITS MONDAY, WHAT ARE YOU READING? Find out what im reading HERE!

So yes it is Monday again way to quick! The only thing that got me through my work day was reading my book on my breaks, let me tell you my breaks couldnt come around quick enough haha.
This book im reading i received from an Australian Indie Author so i could review. The review should be posted tomorrow night as im not quiet finished yet but im pretty sure it will be tonight.
CUT by Kathleen Maree is what i am talking about. I love a good rockstar and plain jane book <3(hence why i couldnt put it down)!!!

Penelope Price is a young woman who is utterly scarred and broken. She has been Cut. Residing with her best friend Rosalie since the sudden demise of her long term relationship, she finds herself severed from the world she once lived for. After months of Rosie suffering through failed attempts of trying to drag Penny back into some form of reality, finally, it happens.

A nightclub in Sydney leads to a strange encounter with Jay, a musician who at first meeting seems dangerous, but for unknown reasons there is an unconscious draw. When her inner turmoil dramatically ruins the night, it appears she may be worse off than where she started.

Will her wound ever heal?

Uninvited interest from the mysterious stranger messes further with Penny's emotional state, resulting in more confusion than comfort. He seems to be hiding behind his own secretive walls and she isn't sure she can trust him. The sudden return of her ex, Evan, who is persistent to fill in the reasons for their demise, exposes the shocking truth. Ultimately sending her into the lowest point of her existence.

Does she find her definitive end in the dramatic final scene of her story?

Has she been Cut?

Do yourselves a favor and go get your own copy!!! I promise you'll love it

A collection of shiny gold bangles around her wrist tinkled pleasantly as she clasped her hands in front of herself drawing my eyes to the area of her body they were hiding, or highlighting — 'yeah her crotch, I’m a man, I’m gonna look, so fuckin’ sue me.'

“Jeremy, um…I’m up here,” she said on a laugh.

Swallowing noisily, I dragged my eyes away from the ‘promised land’ and looked up, my mouth watering as I caught a whiff of her arousal. 'Fuck yeah, she’s just as hot for me as I am for her.'

Seemingly reading my thoughts, or more than likely just the undiluted lust on my face, I watched as a wicked glint sparkled in her dilated eyes and a tiny smile curved up her blood-red lips.

I gulped, my fingers tightening on the bottle as every cell in my body screamed for a taste of her. Taking a quick breath in, I exhaled and put my game face on as I stood and extended my hand. “Hey there.” Yeah real smooth dude. “Um yeah in the flesh. And you’re?”

'Best fucking opening line ever Jeremy,' I thought.
NOT.

Her skin felt like silk and groaning I sucked my lip ring into my mouth, flicking it with my tongue as I circled my thumb over the back of her hand. Her eyes glazed over as they dropped to my mouth and then down to our joined hands. I watched her reaction to me, my head buzzing and my heart pounding as her lips parted revealing her shiny wet tongue — 'which to my cock’s joy' — darted out, wetting her bottom lip.

'Faaaaark!' I shifted my weight from foot to foot, my dick throbbing like a bastard, it felt like it had its own heartbeat.

Behind me a chair squeaked. “It’s been lovely chatting with you Jeremy —”

'Shit, I’d completely forgotten about Trudy being here, an unwilling witness to the sizzling primal sexual dance that this chick and me had just engaged ourselves in.'

“— but I really must go and check on the…ah… food. You know, make sure that Sam’s not incinerating our dinner or anything like that? Plus, even more importantly, I’m hanging for a fresh drink.” She stood. “You pair have fun. But just not right 'here' okay? Find a secluded trysting…” 'Trysting? The fuck?' “…area away from prying eyes if you feel the need to scratch an itch or two,” she offered in a low voice before walking off, her gait a little wobbly.

And in that second my respect for Trudy shot up a thousandfold on my ‘respect-meter.’ She was one fuck of a cool older chick in my books.

Married with four children, and eleven grandchildren, Jennifer lives with her husband and bad-tempered Maltese terrier Beau, an assortment of chooks, finches and a French speaking Quarrion (or Cockatiel) in the beautiful Hunter Valley in rural N.S.W, Australia.
Before devoting herself to full-time writing, Jennifer worked in a variety of jobs over the years, from making burgers in a café, to working behind the counter in a small general store, to cleaning in a boutique B&B.

But she counts her greatest accomplishment as raising her children and watching them grow into responsible adults with children of their own.

BOOK REVIEW ~ WINNING THE PLAYER by LEESA BOW

I just LOVE when I get emails from authors asking me to read and review their books UMM HELL YES I WILL :-)
This email was great because it was from Aussie author Leesa Bow. I love supporting other Aussies so I never hesitated saying yes to read WINNING THE PLAYER. This book was a riveting read that I devoured in 2 days (would have been less but silly work got in the way haha).

Winning The Player is about Aubree Taylor. When a knee injury destroys her dreams of playing college basketball she runs overseas to try to forget it all. After two years she returns home ready to move on with her life, that is until she runs into Hunter Stone. He is the only man who ever meant anything to her, only problem with that? he is the last person she wants to see on her first night out back in town.

Aubree ran out on him literally those 2 years ago, then she was gone and he never seen her again until her first night out at a club. Hunter hasn't been able to get Aubree of his mind. Being a sexy football (AFL not soccer, GO NRL sorry Leesa haha) star he has had any woman he wants and many women all over him, but they are not Aubree.

Aubree tries but fails to keep her distance from him. She is unable to resist the static connection they still have, so it wasn't long before they get involved in a sizzling passionate relationship. Being one to not shy away from a challenge she is finding it hard to ignore Hunter's arrogance and distrust that are pushing her to her limits. It's up to Aubree if she wants to follow her heart and let her walls down around Hunter or risk the best thing in her life.

Aubree Taylor is a tough, determined, independent natural beauty. She wasn't self-absorbed, did what was best for her and didn't need a man to make her feel loved or needed. Aubree was a real, refreshing, relate-able and inspirational heroine.

Hunter Stone until you read on through the book you think is an arrogant, self-absorbed cave-man player. BUT until you read more he turns into a sexy, caring, selfless, thoughtful, charming man who would do anything for his mum *sigh*.

Together Aubree and Hunter just make sense. They both bring out a side in each other that they both need. She brings out the selfless caring side in Hunter that makes him only want to love her and give her the world. He makes Aubree break her walls down, makes her not want to run anymore and face her shattered dream head on. They still have that same scorching connection from years ago that either can deny. <3

Leesa did a spectacular job with every character, each bringing out a different emotion in you. The secondary characters are Aubree's supportive amazing mum, her crazy full-on but always on her side best-friend and Hunter's cousin Maddy, Hunter's brother Connor (who causes some unintentional drama for the two), B.J an old basketball friend who always has her back and Aubree's Grandma with her wise words of wisdom.

It was a FANTABULOUS book filled with determined, strong and individual characters. Sexual angst, passion, steamy scenes and loving moments is just a taste of what you will read.

Give me a book with an Aussie footy player any day of the week!! Leesa Bow you are a fantastic, amazing and brilliant Author.

Thankyou for emailing me and asking me to read this excellent book, it was definitely my pleasure :-)

A MUST READ. . .
